1. Davido Music Worldwide (DMW)
Davido (born David Adeleke) is a performing and recording artiste and also a music producer. Davido was born in Atlanta GA, USA on November 21st to Mr And Mrs Adeleke and attended The British International School, Lagos.
Travelling between the USA, the UK and Nigeria, Davido has experienced different cultures but still stays true to his roots and this is evident in his music and the people he considers his biggest influences musically, which include Don Jazzy, 2 Face idibia, Sound Sultan and Wande Coal.
He is the owner of Davido Music Worldwide (DMW).

Mavin Records is Africa’s leading record label. Founded in Lagos in 2012 by legendary producer Don Jazzy, Mavin has produced some of the most iconic artists and songs of this decade and has shaped the sound of Afrobeats music.
Its roster spans genres from Afrobeats to alternative rock to rap. Current artists include Korede Bello, Johnny Drille, Di’ja, D’Prince, Dr. SID, Ladipoe, DNA, Rema, Crayon and DJ Big N.

Starboy Records is a Nigeria record label. Established in 2013 by singer Wizkid after parting from Empire Mates Entertainment, it is home to producers Maleek Berry and Legendury Beats as well as singer LAX. The label released Wizkid’s sophomore ‘Ayo’ (2014).
In 2016, the label expanded into StarBoy Worldwide, with the signing of Ghana’s Efya, Mr Eazi and R2Bees. The announcement was made by Wizkid at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. He also named Paedae of R2Bees as president of the new, expanded label.

Aniekeme Usen popularly known as Murphy McCarthy (@murphy.mccarthy.offi) is the CEO and also signed to Alleluyah Boyz Entertainment, although he hails from Akwa Ibom State.
He grew up in Benin City, Edo State Nigeria where he released a street anthem titled “Araba Don Show” some years back.

Opeyemi Babatunde Rahim aka Lyta appears to have joined music label, Doro music gang after his exit from the Olamide’s led YBNL records.
This was gathered in the artwork he released for his debut single of the year 2019 titled “Monalisa”, shortly after he joined another Record Label.

8. Penthauze Records
Penthauze Music is a record label based in Nigeria. Fronted by rapper Phyno, the label’s marquee act and CEO, Penthauze in 2011 had Runtown, Shugaboi and Flipside on its bill. It signed Storm Rex in 2014, the singer becoming the label’s sole female act.
The label as a crew announced itself with the song ‘Camera Out’ (2011). Runtown, however, left the label in 2013. Phyno released his debut album ‘No Guts No Glory’ under the label.
9. Eme (Empire Mates Entertainment)
Empire Mates Entertainment (abbreviated as E.M.E) was a Nigerian record label founded by Banky W and Tunde Demuren in 2002. It was home to recording artists such as Wellington himself and Niyola. DJ Xclusive was the label’s official DJ.
Wizkid, Skales and Shaydee were all formerly signed to the label.
Producers associated with the label include Masterkraft, Jay Sleek, Cobhams Asuquo, Spellz and Samklef, among others. On June 18, 2012, the label released its compilation album Empire Mates State of Mind.
In addition to establishing a record label, Banky W, Segun Demuren and Tunde Demuren established a production house, a publishing company known as Muzik Men Publishing, and a charity foundation known as the I-AM-CAPABLE Charity Foundation.
Banky W announced in February 2018 that E.M.E was dissolved as a record label; he said the label is now a talent management company focused on creative marketing, advertising, PR and brand events.

Five Star Music is a record label based in Nigeria. It is headed by Emeka Okonkwo who is the elder brother of the label’s most prominent artist, Kcee. The singer Harrysong (also called Mr Songz) is also on the label.
Harrysong signed in 2013, and his former label Questionmark Records took 5 Star Music to court. It is unclear the issue was resolved.
In existence since 2010, it was in 2013 with the release of ‘Limpopo’ that the label caught a break. In 2014 the label signed new artist Skiibii.
